LIP FILLER

Lip fillers not only enhance your natural lip shape, but we can change your lip shape, stop the lipstick running into those little lines, help prevent the resting sad face and more! It provides moisturisation, plumping and redefining to make you feel better than ever.

Our clients always say the best moment after lip fillers is putting on your favourite lipstick for the first time - the difference in your smile will be unbelievable.

We can offer results that are extremely natural looking, so no duck-lips or trout-pouts please! They can be as subtle or as "wow" as you like, tailored to your dream lips.

For subtle results we recommend 0.5mL, and for a fuller result: 1mL.

We believe in gradually building your lips, letting your body adapt and adjust and topping up if needed, so we won't ever push you to get more filler than you want.

Have a look at our dermal filler page to learn more about fillers in general, or peruse the FAQ's below.

Frequently asked questions

What do they look like?

Having filler in place should make your skin look rejuvenated and natural. We place the filler in areas which have lost their previous volume: - lips - smile lines (connects nose and lips) - marionette lines (connect corners of lips down to chin) - jaw definition - chin remodelling

When will I notice results?

Results are instand with dermal filler. Initially there will be some minor swelling which should settle after a few days. The area will be red and inflamed often immediate afterwards, again this settles normally in 48 hours.

Are the results permanent?

Your body breaks down the Hyaluronic acid over time, just like it does to the natural Hyaluronic acid already there. Depending on your own metabolism, filler can last between 12 months and 2 years. Filler can be dissolved immediately if there are any complications or concerns.

Does it hurt?

The filler we use contains anaesthetic, and we also place numbing on the areas to be treated to minimise discomfort.

Are they safe?

Dermal fillers have been used safely and effectively for over 20 years. All procedures carry minor risks, but prolonged or serious complications are extremely rare. Your practitioner will discuss with you the details.

Can anyone have filler?

Most people can. However it not advised in patients who take blood thinners, have had collagen injections in the past, heavy scarring, severe allergies or compromised healing. This will all be discussed at your consultation.

Where can I have filler?

Hyaluronic acid can be used all over the body. We provide fillers for the lips, and the lines made by smiling and frowning around the mouth. We can also use fillers to rejuvenate the jaw line and chin, enhancing your natural profile.
